Why I refuse to post negative pictures of Africa.

It’s not that i don’t care about these causes BUT instead of taking a picture of a starving kid, perhaps you should feed them 1st? I refuse to support that kind of thinking, these photographers make milllllions of money out of one photo of a dying person. The person dies, the photographers gets paid, because they captured a “priceless moment”. Really? is that how life works? you benefit from some else’s misery? I don’t want to fall into that circle.

These cloths have been dated back to 9th century BC, they have been passed down generation to generation are still VERY popular today.

Below are exampes of African cloths, used to make various things. 

1. Various cloths from all over Africa

2. Adire -Yoruba people

3. Aso Oke -Yoruba people

4. Kente -Ashanti & Ewe people

5. Mud Cloth

6. Kitenge -Originally Kenya but very common among all east African countries.

(These are not all, infact there’s over 100 different types of cloths !)
